Equipment Preparation

Our coaches will help and educate our athletes in the preparation of their equipment for training and competition.

Equipment Modification

Boot stiffness and fit are major factors in the development of correct stance in athletes. The coaches in the academy have lots of experience in boot modification.

Equipment Purchase

The correct equipment is essential to elite performance. Our coaches will advise on the correct equipment for each individual athlete.

Stökli Skis

ACRA can offer its team members the opportunity to purchase race skis, plates and bindings from leading ski manufacturer Stöckli. ACRA is able to offer these great products in both the uk and Australia at a preferential price to its team members. Acra highly recommends these products to athletes of all ages.

Vist Plates and Bindings

Alpine Coaching Race Academy now recommends the use of VIST plates and bindings to all our athletes. VIST are leaders in binding and race plate technology and these products are perfect for all our athletes. We can offer their bindings and plates to our team and we recommend their products.

Notes:

The National Federation may set Alpine Competition Equipment rules for use in National Points level events for Children.

As of season 2005, there will be no National Points races for Under 10 Children in Australia.

Athletes competing in FIS Children’s races overseas must do so with FIS compliant competition equipment.

The ski length and the ski radius have to be marked on the competition ski.
